Description: The Association of Jewish Aging Services, a national not-for-profit organization, seeks a part-time intern to work with our small team at our Capitol Hill office. This position will provide a warm atmosphere conducive to learning the "ins and outs" of operations at a non-profit. The candidate hired for this position will be an active participant in all office-wide projects including, but not limited to: Surveying AJAS members; Updating mailing lists and database; Support communications initiatives; Opportunities to write for various publications, depending on experience; Assist with projects relating to the AJAS Annual Conference in March; Other miscellaneous projects as needed. This position reports to the Director of Communications/Marketing.

Desired Education Degree/Level: Internship
Prior Experience: The successful candidate must have excellent organizational, oral/written communication and administrative skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required. Experience with databases is helpful. Knowledge and experience with Jewish customs and traditions is a plus.
